Locke was suprised. He knew that he had recognised the small man... Charlie from somewhere prior the crash but he hadn't expected him to be someone famous. He had heard of Driveshaft, infact he owned one of their CD's or rather had owned. "Really?" he asked Charlie. "I've heard some of your music and it's pretty good." He smiled at Charlie. He could tell that the small man would need help soon and that he could deliver it. He would have to keep an eye on him.

Charlie looked sidelong at Locke.. of all the people on the beach, he was the last one he would have suspected to have even heard of Driveshaft. But hey, this seemed to be a day for strange things.. like surving plane crashes, being marooned on desert islands, and fishing with a pointy stick.
He grinned back. "Wow.. um, thanks, John.. Or is it Locke?"

Locke smiled back. "People call me Locke." he said with the air of a head master. He moved closer towards Charlie. "How about catching some fish then?" He smiled again and began to humm. He then moved away from Charlie in the direction of the forrest's edge. He beckoned for him to follow.

Charlie was a little hesitant about heading into the forest.. It was.. dark, and kind of wild. He swallowed and shook slightly as a gravewalker sneaked down his spine. But he realised that, given his smallness, weakness and general patheticness, he needed all the friends he could get, and refusing to go somewhere because it looked a little scary would be a pretty good way to piss off 'Wilderness Man'.
He cleared his throat - "Lead on, Locke.." - and went to follow after

Shannon Walked slowly back into the camp on her own, she looked around to see only Maxwell standing there. "Now that's just frigging typical, where the hell is everyone. I got the damn blankets." She said as she waved them around, only to realise he couldn't see them. She was clearly not impressed by the lack of people there to welcome her safe return. She dumped the stuff upon a rock and slumped to the sand to take a seat and get her breath back.

KateComing back to the beach, Kate looked around. Hmm... empty. Watching Shannon sulk boosted her morale a bit. Kate grinned, looking around again. Locke and Charlie must've gone fishing, Maxwell's right there... but those two! Squinting into the distance, an angry sound rose up in her throat. It looked like that haystack guy, and some other person. Why was it below them to help? Angrily, she started towards them, falling over in the slippers sand. Shannon Was left all alone, and she was enjoying the peace and quiet. She grabbed herself a blanket and lay down under one and went to sleep.
