Tabitha ran, deeper and deeper into the dense jungle, her heart hammering loudly in her ears. She couldn't believe she had just done that. Ran away like a coward. Tabitha felt ashamed, she had left them with an injured Eponine, what kind of person was she?
Finally giving into the pain in her chest she sat down on a fallen tree. Looking around Tabitha saw nothing but trees and darkness. The shadows caused by the trees danced into hideous shapes. Tabitha stifled a cry and closed her eyes to gather her courage. She cautiously stood up and headed back the way she came. Hopefully she could find her way back, and she might be able to apologise to the others. Hopefully....

Thankfully when she had started running, Tabitha remembered her backpack. It contained some stolen airplane food, peanuts etc, and her supply of water. Also her handy work kit that included a little pick and hammer. She didn't know if she would need these things but at the moment anything could come in useful.
Tabitha continued to make her way through the dense jungle until she heard a noise. It was like a trickling sound. She ran towards it and came across a river. Laughing in exileration she went to her knees and poured some of the blessed water over her.
After losing the grubby feeling that she had felt since the crash, she decided to follow the river, knowing that it probably led back to the beach or to somewhere where she could hopefully gain shelter.

Angel Had left Eponine in the company of Nate and Kallimah, while she tried to follow Tabitha's tracks, all the while wondering to herself.
Why did she run like that, and where's she going anyways?
Angel kept walking, hoping to find some clue to where Tabitha was heading and hoping that she was ok. Things were getting weird in the jungle, the noises were getting louder and Angel worried about everyone except herself, all she could think about was Tabitha, a young pretty girl all alone, probably scared half to death and roaming the jungle on her own, was not the smartest move to make, but none the less, Angel followed what she thought to be foot prints in the dirt.

Tabitha started walking, she knew that she was in trouble, a deep feeling in her stomach kept twisting and turning and making her more afraid. The river seemed to be getting heavier, the water thrashing at her feet, not being content to stay within the confines of the river bed. With a big sigh Tabitha just let the feelings wash over her, she was tired and hungry and she was lost. There was nothing good about her situation and she couldn't keep going on like this. It seemed tedious, the sounds of the river sending her into a sort of trance where her concentration was gone and she could only follow the line that was set in front of her.
Thoughts of her life kept flashing through her head. Her husband's laugh and the soft feeling of her pillows as she slept. She never thought she'd think this but she would have killed for a cup of coffee or tea or even a brush for her hair. Tabitha started to hate the fact that she was so dependent on modern technology that after one day in the wilde she would probably end up dead. It wasn't the thought that she was going to die that scared her, it was the thought that she was going to die alone. She was dirty and alone and lost on a perculiar island, and she started to fell that her whole life meant nothing.
From the bushes she heard a sound. It could have been a many number of things, but in Tabitha's current state of mind she intrepreted it differently, she knew something was out there and she knew that it was looking for her. Stupidly she mistook the noise of her stomach rumbling for the monster and panicked. With a sound that was something between a whimper and a scream she tore away from the river into the jungle, not caring that she might start heading away from the area where the others were, she forgot that she should warn them, she just kept running. Tabitha knew she couldn't stop, there was soemthing wrong with the island and that it was going to hurt her. Self preservation is a strong thing, especially if you've never felt it before.
After what seemed like hours she had to stop. She had to as any more running would mean having a heart attack. seeing a fallen tree she climbed into a little cubby hole that fallen leaves and branches had made. It was dark and Tabitha felt slightly safer hidden from view like this. She looked out not trusting herself to go to sleep. Her eyes would fall and abruptly open again when a shadow flickered or a bird called, she wouldn't let the darkness call her and in sleep she would be much more vulnerable. But of course she couldn't help the overwhelming pull of sleep, her eyes ached and her head was muzzy and after a while not even a bomb would wake her up. Exhaustion caused her to sleep almost coma like and through her dreams danced oddly shaped shadows and unknown voices, but she couldnt awake from that place. She slept through the night more terrified than she ever had been before.

Angel Was obviously having no luck tracking down Tabitha, so she decided to re join the others at the water, where she left them. She walked away.

Night time reeled home to... wherever it went when it wasn't dark. Ethan hadn't paid much attention when they were explaining that, and wasn't enough of a poet to come up with some romantic myth. Whatever. What he meant was, night had slunk off and the first rays of sun were streaking through the sky. He liked early, it was comforting and quiet, the one time those little voices kept to either silence or straight noise instead of that accursed whispering.

Tabitha had woken after she felt the cold night breeze invade her self made bed. She felt more at peace than she had before and felt more equipped to get back to the others. She was cool and in control. Then that thought disappeared as she heard a creak from the jungle.
In a burst of energy she surged to her feet. Her eyes widen as she saw the added shadows. There was another shuffle and she turned towards it, shocked to see a more human like shadow. Tabitha immediately crouched down again, hoping that it wasn't real and if it was that it hadn't seen her.
Tabitha was barely breathing as she waited for some sign. She tried not to move and felt her legs reject the position she was in. Thin trails of pain flew through her legs where she sat in the cramped position. She knew she couldn't stay in this position for much longer and hoped something would happen to help her feel safe.

... or, at least, it was usually quiet. Right now he was startled by a small swooshing noise in the leaves. That in itself wasn't really suspicious - no duh, jungle, remember? - but given the events of recent days he was more wary than usual. Such noises were no longer the innocent rustle of wind, or indigenous beasties, but more usually the survivors of Flight 815.
That probably explained why, against all his better instincts, he headed over towards the noise to investigate, and quickly caught sight of the woman - evidently not one of his kind, or she'd have been able to hide better. But this was still surprising - all the survivors he'd so far met were from the other side. An intriguing development, and one he'd have to investigate further. Trying the same tact which had worked so well with Kate he switched into his least horrible grin and offered a cheery "Hey.. are you okay?" and a hand to help her out of that uncomfortable crouch

Tabitha looked up, and smiled. Right before her was this sweet looking guy, he looked harmless and was concerned for her. She wasn't fully relaxed though and she glanced around the sranger for anything else that was amiss. After being silent after his question for a couple of minutes she finally remembered her manners.
"I'm fine. Umm... Was that you in the forest? I was a bit scared. I'm Tabitha by the way."
Tabitha stood up and exteded her hand, but her legs didn't seem to comply and she fell forward.
