"Helena...!" Kamilliah called out in a near whisper as she dragged herself through the jungle, her eyes wide in panic and fear. "C'mon, sweetie...it's mommy...mommy's here, don't be afraid..." Could things be any worse? The plane had crashed, leaving some fourty-something people stranded on this island...people were dead, others were missing. Helena was missing...Milla's baby girl...the joy of her life, was no where in sight. She'd looked everywhere...asked a few people if they'd seen the three year old, even...but no one had. That only made her all the more worried. What if she...what if she was....dead?
God, Milla couldn't even think like that. She didn't know what she'd do if she found out that Helena was...gone forever. No, she had to be somewhere on this island. She just had to be. She had this crazy maternal instinct, as if she could feel Helena's presence on this island. But she didn't know where the baby was...and that was certain to cause trouble when it came to finding her..if she ever did.
Feeling herself trip on a root in the ground, Milla groaned in pain as her body hit the hard surface she she cringed, feeling a slight pain in her forehead. Reaching up, the woman touched her forehead with her hand and wasn't surprised to feel a warm liquid on her fingertips...blood...oh how wonderful. "Shit..." she muttered, closing her eyes and continuing to just lay there, too worried...too frusterated, even, to get up.
