As soon as the lid was opened, a rope was pulled down, Ana backed up, holding the aim on them as she grabbed onto it, still facing them, and was pulled up.
"Not on your pathetic Hick life, cowboy." as she was high enough to get out, she held that aim on them once more, as the lid smacked closed, and they were left in darkness once more.

"Real genius." Michael rolled his eyes, glaring to Sawyer.
"Pull out a gun, and make it worse for us to escape." he frowned once, thinking of Walt. Jin didn't look too happy, he began to speak again.
"Man, I can't understand you!" Mike got irritated.

"Your gratitude is over-bloody-whelming." Sawyer scowled back. "At least ah'm trying to get us out of here..."
Jin wanted in, evidently, was jabbering away. Someday he's have to learn the Korean for 'I don't understand you! shut up!', until then turning and scowling some more would have to do. "What? My shoulder.. great. Nice of you to point that out. Ah honestly hadn't noticed.."
Flashing another poisonous look at Mike he stormed into the corner and kicked at the sides of the pit in the sort of rage you can't express any other way than violence against inanimate objects... Even that hurt. Gaaaaaah.

"Well you didn't need to pull out a gun at the crazy girl!" Michael looked to the side a moment, Jin tried to speak again, until the lid opened. Mike looked up.
"I want my son!" he yelled loudly.
Eko frowned.

Sawyer went to reply to Mike, but the pain in his shoulder robbed him of the ability to make any decently cutting remark, so he merely sighed in an exasperated manner and slumped to a seating position, ignoring the opening of the lid. Mike's desperation was just what they were looking for, probably. The key was to remain calm and not let the bastards grind you down... At least, not any further down than they'd already forced you.
Darkness, and the lid, descended once again before Sawyer spoke out. "Chill, Mikey. Ain't getting us anywhere..."
Jin started gesturing again, getting frustrated that he was getting ignored, trying to suggest that they tried climbing out again. Because that had been such a fantastic success last time.. sigh. "No way. No more human pyramids -- just forget it" Sigh again... what he wouldn't give for a good drink. Water first, and then the real stuff.

The bamboo lid had been thrown open, as Ana Lucia now stood in front of Eko, raising an eyebrow a moment. Dark eyes focused on the three captives, as she lowered a rope down.
"Get up. And get out."

"Um, no" Sawyer replied, his old bravado sparking again... the effect slightly ruined by how Jin was going for the rope. Well, whatever. Let them head to their doom if that was how they wanted to play it... he could wait this out, and he sure as hell wasn't going to make any play unless it was on his terms. His reply positivily oozed with thick ironic politeness. "Don't think ah will.. thanks"

An amused smile began to play upon those rose hued lips, as Ana Lucia simply nodded her head to eko. Jin had gotten helped out when he had gone for the rope and began to climb, as for Michael, he started up as well, Eko helping him up with a strong arm.
"You wanna' stay, cowboy?" Ana smirked, as she flipped the lid closed.
Utter darkness now, as Sawyer was the only one in the pit left.

"Bitch"
Sigh. Well, that achieved a lot. At least he was alone now... although Sawyer was starting to question his long-held basic tennant that that was undoubtably a good thing - only to question, but still, that was a pretty big move for him.
Pitch blackness. Silence. What the hell was going on out there? He'd like to have imagined that Michael, Jin and the Others were having a cocktail party, or something, because that meant he wasn't going to die any time soon, and could allow himself to get pissed off. But that wasn't very likely, now, was it? Let's recap, shall we? He was stuck in a pit, having lost his few companions and seriously ticked the woman who held the keys to his freedom. Said woman had almost tricked him and, perhaps worse, got to him. He was wounded, probably fatally. Hardly a great state of affairs, and to be honest, one that was freaking him out.
